After early breakfast leave for Tissamaharama & check into Hotel. After lunch visit the Kataragama Kovil which is a Hindu Place of worship. There you qill see the colourful Kawadi dancing which is featured at the Annual Kataragama festival in August.

Dinner and over-night at Tissa

After breakfast leave for Yala which is in the Deep South of the Island, check into Yala – Hotel, visit the National Yala Park, where the elephant is undoubtedly the best known attraction in Yala, seen in small and large herds, what is most appealing here is the overall mood of the undisturbed Jungle. Large herds of spotted Deer are seen all over the park. You can also see whole colonies of Crocodiles. The Peacock is easily the most famous of Birds in Yala, the mating dance of the male with its colourful plumes fully spread, is a Photographers delight, you can also see a whole lot of other wild life scenes etc.
